Laziza

Laziza is a packaged malt beverage, so a useful home recipe should begin with the actual product rather than pretend to recreate its manufacturing process. This citrus spritz serving suggestion adds lemon, a little syrup and sparkling water to a chilled original-flavor bottle. The result is lighter and more citrus-led while keeping the malt character recognizable. It is inspired by the general idea of a nonalcoholic shandy and is not presented as the restaurant’s service or a brand-endorsed formula. Pour gently, keep everything cold and enjoy the drink as soon as it is mixed.

Ingredients

  • 330 ml chilled original-flavor Laziza nonalcoholic malt beverage
  • 150 ml chilled sparkling water
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 20 ml simple syrup
  • 200 g ice cubes

Method

  1. Check the Laziza label and use the original malt flavor for this serving suggestion. Chill the bottle fully before opening.

  2. Divide the ice between two tall glasses. Add 15 ml lemon juice and 10 ml simple syrup to each.

  3. Pour 75 ml sparkling water into each glass and stir once to combine the citrus base.

  4. Open the Laziza and slowly divide the 330 ml bottle between the glasses. Stir gently once without beating out the bubbles and serve immediately.

Make it your own.

  • This is a citrus serving suggestion using purchased Laziza, not a recipe for manufacturing the branded beverage.
  • Pour the malt beverage last and slowly to control the foam.
  • Check the particular bottle’s ingredients and alcohol declaration if those details matter to your guests.
