Bonjus
Bonjus is familiar as a ready-to-drink fruit beverage, and this home idea treats it as an ingredient for an easy sparkling refresher. Orange Bonjus, lime and a small amount of grenadine give the glass a bright fruit profile without requiring a blender. Sparkling water lightens the sweetness and is added at the end to preserve the bubbles. This is an original serving suggestion, not a claim about how Bonjus is manufactured or how it is served at Beiruty. Use the specified orange flavor and enjoy the finished drink immediately after mixing.

Ingredients
- 250 ml chilled Bonjus orange fruit drink
- 200 ml chilled sparkling water
- 20 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 10 ml grenadine syrup
- 200 g ice cubes
Method
Check that your Bonjus carton is orange flavored and measure 250 ml into a small jug. Add the lime juice and stir.
Divide the ice between two tall glasses. Pour 5 ml grenadine into the bottom of each glass.
Divide the Bonjus-lime mixture gently between the glasses, then top each with 100 ml sparkling water.
Serve immediately with a spoon or straw so guests can stir the syrup through the drink before sipping.

- This recipe uses the purchased Bonjus drink and does not claim to reproduce the company’s fruit-drink formula.
- Choose orange Bonjus for these measurements; other flavors will change the balance.
- Grenadine is syrup rather than fresh pomegranate juice, so measure it carefully to avoid an overly sweet glass.
