Cocktail Mix
Cocktail Mix can mean a colorful blend of fruit juices rather than an alcoholic drink. This home version combines orange, pineapple and mango with lime for a rounded fruit flavor and a clean citrus finish. A little cold water keeps the nectar from feeling too heavy alongside food, and the ice is added only at serving time. It is an original interpretation of the menu’s fruit-juice description, not a statement about the restaurant’s exact blend. Mix a jug just before a gathering and serve in small glasses so it stays cold and lively.

Ingredients
- 250 ml chilled orange juice
- 250 ml chilled pineapple juice
- 200 ml mango nectar
- 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 150 ml chilled water
- 200 g ice cubes
Method
Pour the orange juice, pineapple juice and mango nectar into a large jug. Stir well to combine.
Add the lime juice and chilled water. Taste a small spoonful; the mixture should have both fruit sweetness and a clear citrus finish.
Divide the ice between four glasses and pour the fruit blend over it.
Stir each glass once and serve immediately. Keep any unserved juice mixture covered in the refrigerator rather than leaving it over melting ice.
Make it your own.
- Use mango nectar for a fuller texture, or a thinner mango juice if you prefer a lighter drink.
- Choose unsweetened orange and pineapple juices when available; mango nectar often supplies enough sweetness.
- This is a nonalcoholic home fruit blend, and the restaurant’s current fruit selection may differ.
